Google Apps for WORK

The big news this week is that Google Apps for Business will now be known as Google Apps for Work - same great solutions, just wrapped in a new, probably more appropriate name. So many new features have rolled out recently, we wanted to highlight a few for review.

The new Drive interface has rolled out to most of you at this point. If you do not see it yet, it will be there soon. A little faster, streamlined navigation, with a host of new features, the new Drive will make work just a little bit easier. Meet the new Drive and review the video to learn about your new Drive.

As you become more mobile and spend time away from your desks, it's important to make sure you have access to all of your info regardless of where you are or what device you are using.  Review accessing your data - any file on any device and be sure to visit the App store or Play store to get the latest Google Apps for your tablets and phone

Lastly on Drive, for now, is using the new Docs editor home screens to easily find and create the right file at the right time. These new home screens serve as a central place to collect your documents in Docs, your spreadsheets in Sheets and your Presentations in Slides. This is similar to opening Word to access documents or Excel to access Spreadsheets. To create or work with your files, you can access each of your home screens at the following:
You can still go directly to your Drive, but some of you may like working with your new home screens more.

Finally we'd like to introduce you to The Apps Show. A weekly broadcast of tips and tricks on how to use Google Apps better.

Please forward along to your coworkers. If you would like to schedule time to review these (or other new features), let us know, we're happy to help.
